Mission Statement
Our foundation was formed on November 10th, 2002 for three specific purposes:
- First to fund research and clinical trials in the area of Battens Disease. Specifically Late Infantile Battens Disease, the form which our son Travis suffers from.
- The second was to educate and raise public awareness for the disease since its rarity has placed it in an orphan class.
- Finally to help fund the purchase of expensive disease related equipment for Travis to help him in his daily fight for life.
We hope to fund these efforts through donations and fundraisers when-ever and where-ever possible!
